Oakley is likely the first one to greet you at the gate, but there are 4 others that tend to be right behind him: Bruja, Torq, Banshee, and Kweo.  Torq's personality has really developed over the months.  While he was a grumpy puppy, he is one of the friendliest now.  On a side note, Torq has not had any new seizure episodes so we're hoping it was just a one time event.

Kweo has also grown to be much less shy, though he still is a little hesitant at first.  When he does come up to a visitor, he's the gentlest of all the pups. Billy, Sita, and Ginger are all still rather shy and  prefer to hang around back and just watch when people are present.  Falcon is extremely shy and won't come up to strangers at all.
 
We're happy that the pack has been able to stay together and that so far everyone is getting along as they grow up.
 
One thing that is common to all the pups is how messy they are! They run so much that the snow just melts and turns their large pen to mud. When visiting the refuge, it's best to save the puppies until after you've visited all the other wolves.  Otherwise, you'll be covered with muddy paw prints all day.

The pictures below were taken by various people during January of 2012.  The pictures are candid and you will notice that many are from a farther distance than when they were small.  Needless to say, the "puppies" are now too big and too quick to easily get close-ups of each of them.  Keeping the pack together also makes for a very dynamic environment.
